Happy Tuesday loves!

Today I'm back with another look from Charlotte Russe Plus. You guys had such a great response to my last look with them, so I was excited to team up with them again. I'm happy to see more brands that previously did not carry plus adding to the mix, especially one like CR, that I've been wearing for years.

This time, I wanted to go for an easy summer look, one that could transition from day to night. I love this color combination of orange and maroon. I've always loved mixing these two -- it just always feels so bright and fresh.

By now you may have heard that the fabulous fast fashion brand Charlotte Russe has finally come out with a plus size line. I've been shopping at Charlotte Russe for years, so when they reached out to me, I was thrilled to get the opportunity to choose a piece from the collection.

As much as I consider myself someone who loves the glamorous life, I also love to be comfortable and add edge to the things that I wear. I really came of age both as a fashion lover and a model in the early to mid-2000s, when Jennifer Lopez, Beyonce and Kimora Lee Simmons were in the height of their "urban glam" (if you will) phases. In fact my FIRST modeling client ever was Baby Phat, followed by Roca Wear and several other urban brands like Apple Bottoms and House of Dereon (rest in peace, oh "urban" brands).

I tend to love midi length dresses that I forget sometimes how great a mini dress can be. I love the simplicity of a short length dress in the chilly temps with tights and boots, and of course a blazer or coat thrown on top.
I got this fab, adorable mini dress in this Versace-inspired print from Pop Up Plus and couldn't get over how cute it was for the affordable price tag. And get this : Although I wore tights, I did not need Spanx, as bodycon as it is. And I felt good in it, the WHOLE time. I don't know what kind of magical sorcery this fabric is but I'm ready to make a wardrobe full of it. Seriously.

Vintage shopping, how do I love thee? Let me count the ways.

I've been putting a lot of money into business endeavors lately and, of course, my wedding, so I haven't had the usual money or time to shop as I so love to do. So I've been working on re-working things from my closet and thrifted pieces, like this green skirt I found at the Salvation Army for a whopping $3.

It's been a crazy eventful years full of highs and lows in my life. I can honestly say that I will focus on the positive, but I am 100 percent ready to say goodbye to 2013.

Fashion-wise, it's been an exciting year and I'm proud of many of the things I've accomplished.
