The International Fuller Woman's Expo 2012 Campaign

I'm very pleased to announce that I am the face of the 2012 International Fuller Woman's Expo to be held this September in Detroit, MI.

I found out about the campaign last year and was thrilled when I was asked to be a part of it. It is known worldwide for promoting positivity in the plus size world, with fashion industry insiders and businesses and more all coming together in a happy and positive environment.

Previously, the campaigns were shot by my dear friend and mentor, Mia Amber Davis, who tragically passed away last year. Mia is the reason I am in this business and the release of the photos has been very emotional for me. Mia was one of the absolute best models I ever had the pleasure of observing and she taught me so much of what I know. I feel humbled by being able to take on something that she lent her name to, and I hope I can make you proud.

The other REALLY exciting news is that I get to go and have a spot at the expo for a business/venture of my choice. I haven't in any way finalized anything but I am leaning toward doing something with the plus size woman and healthy lifestyle and fitness. I think it would be very exciting and empowering to go there with the recognition of being the spokesmodel and getting the opportunity to raise awareness for something I care about so deeply. I don't know how it's going to work yet, but I know that me and the universe are an awesome team and will be making it happen.

I am just so excited and I really hope to see all of you in Detroit in September!
