Lately I've been less interested in following too many trends and more interested in dressing in clothing that looks timeless, with a bit of trend thrown in. I generally like to play it on the safer/classic side with my clothes and experiment with accessories, especially as I get older and want to have more investment pieces

Jumpsuits have been really big this season and it seems that everyone is getting in on the action.

They can be tricky to pull off, especially if you're opting for a bold print, but they are also really comfortable, easy and versatile.

My first reaction to this one was that it was a bit of an overkill look, but true to form, that was what intrigued me most about it. For whatever reason, it made me imagine being in Ibiza or some fabulous destination in the 1970s, on my way to a disco party. Crazy, I know, but you never know where fashion will take your mind.

Tonight was the gala for Time Magazine's 100 Most Influential People of the Year.

From Barbara Walters and Cicely Tyson to Rihanna and Dr. Oz, the red carpet had several amazing movers and shakers.

Interviewing Matt Lauer of the "Today Show" was amazing because he shared with me his experience when he was unemployed for two years before coming to NBC and how he thought about giving up. It was such a great story and very inspiring. I can see why people are so at ease with him, he is very warm and genuine.

I also got the chance to chat with legendary females who inspired me, including Barbara and Cicely. Stay tuned for the video piece, which will hopefully be coming out this week.
