Tonight was the gala for Time Magazine's 100 Most Influential People of the Year.
From Barbara Walters and Cicely Tyson to Rihanna and Dr. Oz, the red carpet had several amazing movers and shakers.
Interviewing Matt Lauer of the "Today Show" was amazing because he shared with me his experience when he was unemployed for two years before coming to NBC and how he thought about giving up. It was such a great story and very inspiring. I can see why people are so at ease with him, he is very warm and genuine.
I also got the chance to chat with legendary females who inspired me, including Barbara and Cicely. Stay tuned for the video piece, which will hopefully be coming out this week.
I wore a very simple outfit -- an all-black suit with a statement necklace, since the gala was semi-formal but I was only covering the carpet. I also did not mean for my green bra to show, but I actually don't mind it, especially since it matches my nails, haha! Unfortunately, I didn't get a full outfit picture, but it was simple anyway.
The necklace I am wearing is from Macy's and is so beautiful. The black and silver was a real standout piece on the red carpet with a red step-and-repeat.
Suit and tank: H&M
Necklace: Macy's
Lipstick: MAC Russian Red
