We've officially reached Thanksgiving week here in the States and while that means tons of delicious food is just around the corner, it also means crazy shopping deals are heading our way. I'm trying to be selective about what I purchase this year because I tend to always go just a tad bit overboard, but I am definitely going to be making some fun purchases.

Today on People Style Watch I'm sharing a little bit about remixing your wardrobe with pieces you already own.

I often get asked the question of how I afford to wear different outfits all the time. While it's true I do work with brands who send me items sometimes, I do still buy a LOT of my own materials, and you know from my reviews of companies like H&M that I'm not out for any brand approval. I only wear what I actually like and feel inspired by.

But that shopping I spoke of isn't happening all the time, even though it may seem that way. Instead, I spend a lot of my time looking for pieces that can be worn differently. I know what I like to invest in and what I will buy cheaply. And I also have tons of closet sales (as well as lots of donations).

Ladies, this is admitedly a long post. If you're looking for something specific, skip ahead to the bullet point you find relevant. This post is based on my experience alone, which was a largely positive one. But that was because I was prepared. I hope this guide helps you a little. I've been back from London for a few weeks now and I miss it daily. I love that city so much, mostly because I LOVE (!) the shopping.

When I was there, I had a chance to tour and experience the Simply Be store on Oxford Street. Shopping on Oxford is much like shopping on 34th Street in New York City or Michigan Avenue in Chicago. All the major stores are there and you see fabulous fashionistas as well as tourists. The shopping is wonderful but there certainly aren't a lot of plus size options. That's why it was so wonderful to see a plus size store that is as glamorous and fashionable as all of the other options near it.

Whew! Fashion Week officially kicked off today and I'm already exhausted. This is going to be just a quick outfit post since I am SO sleepy and the shows begin anew tomorrow bright and early, at 830am.

But it being the most fashionable week of the year and all, let's discuss clothes!

I recently had the chance to review a pair of Torrid's new skinny jegging and let me tell you, I'm in love. In fact, I feel like many retailers are finally starting to improve their denim & fit and while Torrid has always been amazing in that respect (helloooo Stiletto Jeans!), this one is even better!
