New Look

It's hard to be cute in this crazy winter weather I swear, but I was really into the comfort and ease of this outfit. When it's icy outside, the last thing I want to do some days is wear my heels.

I bought this skirt from Macy's from their Keds line for -- get ready -- 9 dollars! I'm such a bargain hunter!




It's a great piece that is very comfy, although I definitely won't be rocking it without tights (or with heels) as it's pretty short.

Speaking of short ...

If you follow me on Instagram, you'll know about the huge change I made in my life recently to cut off more than 7 inches of my hair. It may sound like no big deal, after all it's JUST hair, but it was a huge step for me. I've never had short hair as an adult AND even as a kid, my hair was never much shorter than a shoulder-length bob. I mostly cut it because I had to salvage it as it was breaking constantly from dying, highlights, heated tools, products and overstyling from modeling. I'll be posting a video soon about it, so stay tuned for that. It's crazy how as women, our hair really can be a huge part of our look. I'm still adjusting to it, but I'd rather have short healthy hair than long fried strands.
