Full Figured Fashion Week recap

One of my favorite events all year has to be Full Figured Fashion Week, a time where the plus size fashion community comes together for showcases, parties, runway shows and networking events.

It's been such a busy weekend and I figured I would just do a nice overall outfit recap.

Friday:

I absolutely loved Friday's indie designer showcase. There were so many great looks and designers including companies I have worked for and admired and some new kids on the block. I was especially excited to see my old friend, SK Wilbur's line and the collections of Youtheary Khmer and Ashley Nell Tipton.

I snagged this yellow Adrianna Pappel dress from Macy's in Herald Square just an HOUR before the show. I loved the bright color and the construction of the dress. She designs for plus sizes and straight sizes as well as petities.

Saturday:

Jeans & Top: Torrid

I was so happy to meet up with so many wonderful bloggers at the Torrid Affair. We got the chance to try on their amazing denim and I'm obsessed with the Stiletto Jean, which is just the absolute perfect skinny jean. They are a great length that hits at about the ankle so your shoes get to steal the show.

Finally, the big final show featured amazing designs from Lane Bryant, Evans, Ashley Stewart (yay!), Sonsi and more. It was a great show and we saw tons of great fashion.

I wore a fabulous blue dress from my beloved Asos and I loved it. It was so comfortable as it was made of basic tank top material.
