She's an amazing designer who designs for sizes 0-26 and ladies, let me tell you, her clothes are so sexy and elegant that you will be sure to stop traffic.
This is Serwah Asante's (the designer's) first collection and it doesn't disappoint. The aesthetic is "Modern African Chic" and the clothes are well constructed and the fit is perfect.

When we shot the collection, called "Et Dieu Créa La Femme" (And God Created Woman), in this amazing historic brownstone in Harlem and the idea was complete femme fatale. No smiles, dark shadows in the shots and a very moody feel.My favorite thing about Rue 114 is that it COMPLETELY shatters the idea that you can't design for straight sizes and plus sizes. This woman designs for ALL sizes and every single piece is wearable and sexy.
