Business Mind
Today I'm sharing a look I wore to a very important business meeting that I had this morning. I think a number of women find themselves facing the problem of how to look fashionable yet work appropriate. Even more, so many items in our closets often don't translate from office to party. This is especially true of bodycon dresses, but with the right fit and cut, you can easily overcome that issue.

A Josephine Baker Moment in Nola
On my last night in wonderful New Orleans, I decided to bring out this fabulous Josephine Baker skirt set that I have had my eye on for the longest.
The set, from Rue 107, is really well made and I felt comfortable in it all night. It is separates, but I tucked the top into the skirt and it ended up looking more like a dress, which was just fine with me. I've always been fascinated by Josephine Baker's history and to see her image immortalized in such a cool way made me absolutely fall in love.

Day 19: Mellow Yellow
Well, we're back from the holiday weekend madness and it just seems to have gone by so quickly. It's now OFFICIALLY my wedding month and things are as crazy as ever. I have been pretty stressed out with planning (and bills, lol), so I decided to opt for a bit brighter of a color to lighten up my mood.
Day 18: Falling Behind
Hi guys,
I'm sorry I fell behind in outfit posts of myself this weekend. I have been spending time with my family and enjoying myself so much. It's been such a great weekend and one I will treasure memories from forever.
That meant I wasn't blogging outfits, which I'm sorry about. But to supplement, I am sharing an outfit I styled on a model for Ashley Stewart.
Day 16: All of the lights
One of my favorite combinations to wear is definitely black and gold, and it's the perfect color combination for the holidays.
With so many office parties, sometimes you need to find a festive but appropriate outfit to wear out just as much as you need a fun party look for hanging out without your co-workers.
I love mixing materials, like this velvet skirt and foil print crop top. I added this jacket over the look to make it a bit more conservative, because really, how many of us can wear crop tops around our coworkers?
Day 12: My Feature in People Style Watch Magazine
Today's post features three looks, all featured in my spread in this month's issue of People Style Watch magazine. I am so excited to have this feature and it's such an honor because I am such a fan of the magazine. It features so many wonderful pages filled with fabulous fashion for all sizes, as well as celebrity looks and holiday pieces.

| Since Reese is on the cover, and I'm in the issue, that makes us ALMOST friends, right? LOL |
I am so excited about this and it feels like a huge moment for me. I also have some additional exciting news which I will be revealing soon.
In the meantime, thank you for all of your support. I'm having such a great time interacting with you guys on a daily basis.
Have a wonderful, blessed weekend.
Day 11: Flashback
Full disclosure, today's post is technically one I took some time ago, but never got around to posting. I loved this look and going through these photos made me wish for the warm weather to come back!
I had a super busy day today doing wedding prep (first dress fitting!), so I did cheat juuuust a bit on posting a newly worn outfit every day for 50 days, but it is technically an outfit no one's seen me in, so do forgive me, haha.
Day 10: Comfy, Cozy Glam
So there's definitely still that part of me that loves to wear things like big hoop earrings, flashy aviators, puffy coats and sweatpants with heels.
Day Nine: Basic Black
Day Eight: An 80's Moment
Well, I've officially made it through one whole week of outfits and here we are moving on to week two! It's flown by already. The first week was so great hearing all of your feedback and comments. I hope we'll have this much fun throughout the whole year.
I have been really into oversize pieces and black and white (as you know) lately. Mostly I like switching up my normal style to play around with silhouettes that are unexpected for me. It's amazing how different your shape can look depending on the clothing you wear or the palette. Anything monochrome really changes the way you look. It can obviously be a good thing, although seeing these pictures after wearing this outfit tonight looks a little strange to me (I'm so used to seeing myself looking fullest in my hips).
Day Seven: Marina Rinaldi/Plus Model Magazine Event
Today's post will have more photos added soon, but I wanted to be sure I kept going with my outfits regardless of whether I'm waiting on pics. I had the absolute pleasure of working at the Marina Rinaldi/Plus Model Magazine cover release party Thursday, where I got to work behind the scenes helping to style the in-store models in the fabulous high-end line.
Day Six: On My Short List
Continuing with my journey to wear things I would normally shy away from, I stepped outside of my comfort zone to wear shorts. I've worn this particular pair from New York and Company before (see the post here), but never officially blogged about them. I just never have seen shorts as something I could pull off. But at the encouragement of a friend, I paired them with black tights and this Altuzarra sweater from Target and felt good about the outcome.
Day Five: A little late but worth the wait
I'm a little behind today as it's been a crazy day, and I'm on my way out for date night with the boo, so this may be a quick post. But I absolutely could not resist telling my ladies about this little number.
Day Two: Feeling Parisian
Day 2 of my 50 Day Outfit Project and I'm feeling so excited about being in this mental space and the interactions I know I will have with all of you over the next 6 weeks.
I'm in such a black and white phase right now and seem to find myself wearing muted colors nonstop. I've also been eyeing this bow collar from Asos for a while ( I know a lot of people have) so it seemed like the perfect compliment to my very black and white moment.
Now let me also tell you about the real star of my closet right now : this coat.
