(Closed) MY FIRST GIVEAWAY Ft. Dorothy Perkins

I’m excited to announce my first giveaway here on my little blog! It’s been such a great few weeks getting to know you guys and hear your feedback , and I wanted to show a little token of my appreciation.

So I’m giving away one of my favorite dresses I’ve ever purchased !! It’s this beautiful number from Dorothy Perkins that has been seen on celebs like Amber Riley. I’ve actually had the dress for a while and didn’t even realize it was the same one Amber worn. I’ve only worn it once and it’s in great condition. It’s also no longer available anywhere.

A little about the dress: It’s more orange than it looks in this picture. It’s a size 16, which is my size, but is big on me in the waist and my booty makes it really, dangerously short in the back, lol.

I think the perfect fit would be on a girl who’s about a size 16 (but could work on a 14, 18 and maybe even a smaller 20) and is slimmer in the leg and butt area than up top. It would definitely fit a pear though, and the waist can easily be taken in or nipped with a belt (like Amber below). It’s still super cute and looks great on, but to my gals w a booty, don’t say I didn’t warn you about the dangers of a gust of wind. It will sit higher in the back on us than others. Nothing that some tights and alterations can’t fix though.

SO HERE’S HOW TO ENTER (You must do all three to win!)

  1. You must follow my blog by clicking the “Join this site” button to the right of this post or "follow" at the top of the site.
  2. You must “like” my page on Facebook by clicking HERE
  3. Leave me a comment telling me how you’d rock it.  And please let me know how I can contact you. Do NOT leave a comment as anonymous without leaving an email addy as well.

I’ll choose a winner at random at the end of this week and announce here and on FB/Twitter etc.

I love you guys! Hope you like this dress :-)

What! I so missed out on this dress. I would rock it with some gold platform ankle strap peeptoe pumps because orange and gold look great with my dark complexion. I would accent the dress with an envelope clutch, a medium sized gold belt and a big ole cocktail ring and chandelier earrings.

I love this dress. There are so many ways to wear it, But since I recently went shopping and acquired the most awesome pair of Jessica Simpson colour blocked (orange, purple, black and pink) heels. I could even pair the same heels and a purple suede belt I thrifted a few weeks ago. I love accessories so a nice braided gold chain and some pink and red thrifted post earrings would not only accent the shoes, but pull the whole outfit together.

i love this dress!! i would wear this with mint-ish green suede pumps like these (http://www.stevemadden.com/Item.aspx?id=88632&green=72CD11D8-BB1A-5AA0-0A9D-2E9873B63CA7)with a skinny gold belt like the one Amber Riley is wearing and subtle gold jewlery. As for hair i would have a fresh blow dry and keep it loose and fun. for make up i will do a flesh tone eye shadow across the lid with liquid eyeliner and winged out at the ends, coral/nude lips and some contouring on the checks. i feel like this whole look is fun, flirty and perfect for spring.

I love this dress and have so many ideas on how and where I would wear it. The first thought that came to mind was that it would look great with my new open toe floral print shoes. They have coral and purple flowers with a black base color. I think this dress and those shoes just scream spring.

What a BEAUTIFUL dress. I would rock it with either a hot pink pump or a cobalt pump, some gorgeous crystal chandelier earrings, and a lemon clutch. Probably wear my hair in a messy bun to show the details around the collar.

That dress will be a great addition to my wardrobe. I like the yellow shoes that you had on, but I'm thinking green with a yellow necklace. Spring time is here!

I'd rock this dress with a tan faux fur vest, wide leopard print belt, and bold violet-blue JS platform pumps! Wrist, ear, and neck wear would be a rose gold watch and gold tone bangles, studs, and a chunky gold necklace. For makeup I'd rock a bubble gum pink lip and a soft neutral eye with dark lashes. Deep wavy (black) hair would complete the look!

FYI: I absolutely love how you paired it with neon yellow shoes! FAB!

This dress is amazing! :) If I were to win this dress I would rock it with my purple, 6-inch Calcagni ALDO wedges and a chunky, bright yellow necklace. Spring's here and mixing the loud red dress with other loud accessories would just WORK SO WELL together to me. :D They would also fit my personal style to a "T".

Such a great dress!! It can be worn a lot of ways. I would most likely wear it on a nice night out with the husband with cute nude pumps or spice it up with a different bright color. There are a lot of options
