My Glam Icon Project (Aka Halloween)

Full disclosure, this Halloween almost didn't happen for me. I was so busy planning Holiday content and with other projects that I didn't actually buy a costume. I was at peace with it all until I started feeling major FOMO when I saw all of your amazing looks and photos. So I decided to go into my closet and see what I could make work. I had a blast creating this content and hope you love it too.

I decided to pay tribute to women whose style was iconic over the last 40 years. There were so many to choose from but I went with the list below. (Fair warning, all of this was in my closet so not everything can be linked bc it's not all new).

1970s - Donna Summer



I really wanted to nail Donna's flawless hair and makeup and her ability to channel old Hollywood in the most fashion-forward and glam way.. This was my favorite of the night (but came in second on the poll I posted on IG)


1980s - Cher



Cher is one of the most slept-on fashion icons of all time. She was always ahead of the game, taking chances and living that true rockstar glam life.


1990s - Selena

Eeek, sorry for phone photos and a stain on the mirror

This goes without saying - Selena was truly the epitome of 90s fashion. You voted and this was your FAVE look <3


2000s - Paris Hilton



It was definitely a bit of a controversial choice, but Paris was the queen of the 00s with her signature mini dresses, diamond chokers and tracksuits from Juicy Couture. I even wore a piece from her own collection with Boohoo.
