Day Seven: Marina Rinaldi/Plus Model Magazine Event

Today's post will have more photos added soon, but I wanted to be sure I kept going with my outfits regardless of whether I'm waiting on pics. I had the absolute pleasure of working at the Marina Rinaldi/Plus Model Magazine cover release party Thursday, where I got to work behind the scenes helping to style the in-store models in the fabulous high-end line.


Marina Rinaldi is synonymous with luxury and Plus Model Magazine captured all that and more for their glamorous November cover and editorial (styled fabulously by Susan Moses).

I had such a great time at the event but was running around like crazy, so I didn't get to snap ANY pictures. Luckily I nabbed this one from Getty Images, who was there at the event.

I paired this pleated leather black Calvin Klein flare skirt (previously worn here) with this black top from Kohl's. It was a simple, all-black look, but I wanted to add a feminine touch, so I rocked my Kate Spade bow pumps with these adorable socks from Asos. It was not only practical for the cold temperatures in New York City, but it also made a fun and fancy statement.

I can't wait to get photos with a fabulous coat I wore with it as well, but took off by the time this photo was taken.
