VLOG: Some thoughts on dieting, health and wellness

Hi guys!

I made this video mostly to keep myself accountable, because I'm really trying to change my habits for the better, once and for all. I don't take good enough care of myself and I'm so tired of going up and down in my weight. I am not 19 anymore and this yo-yo-ing is just not good at all.

So I decided to share some of my thoughts on my (still new) YouTube channel.

Please share your thoughts - we're all in the struggle together.

Until then, have a lovely week!

xx

Allie

Ps. Here are some silly photos from recording that day. Just because, lol

Hello, Allison!! I wish you lots of luck on this new lifestyle venture!! Take it from a guy who LOVES meat!! Chicken and beef especially, it's NOT easy!!! Don't hate!!! LOL Also, I totally respect that you want to get healthy. Don't judge me for being selfish but I hope you don't get TOO skinny!! You're a beautiful enough woman as it is!! (((((HUGS))))

Hey Allie! First, let me start off by saying I truly believe you are beautiful inside and out. With that being said, I do understand the need to become the healthiest version of yourself. This is something I've struggled with myself since I can remember. What was recommended to me was Braggs Organic Apple Cider Vinegar. The brand (I was told) was very important. It has all types of health benefits and the woman who recommended it to me also lost weight on it. So, of course, I'm going to try it (was just told about it last night). What I have been doing is juicing. I have noticed that when I drink a smoothie in the morning and again in the late afternoon (when I usually get sugar cravings) that my appetite is greatly reduced. Also, my skin has literally been glowing! Because exercise has never been something I do regularly, I have been trying to make a conscious effort to get up and walk around my building or park a little further away than I normally would. It looks like we're on this journey together love, so I wish you all the luck in the world! Many blessings to you and I'm sorry I can not lend any helping hands to your migraine issues. If you do come across any resolutions please let me know as I'm a sufferer as well. Xx

I feel your pain with the migraines. I've had great luck with cutting out sugar. Well, all carbs, really. High fat, moderate protein, very low carb. That diet eliminates my migraines. The only time I get them now is when I break the diet and end up with a carb hangover. It really happens!
