Review: Slim City by Gap Factory

I recently had the opportunity to try out a pair of Slim City pants from Gap Factory and I am already in love with the versatility of these pants.

I've actually realized in the last few months that I don't own many pairs of pants. I usually wear dresses and skirts or otherwise jeans. But everyone needs pants for work! So when I was presented with an opportunity for review, I was excited.

The pants are a slim fit and a great length that allows you to show off your shoes (always a plus in my book!). They have a bit of stretch but not much. This is good because they don't lose their shape BUT it can be tricky for fit if you're not sure of your size. They run up to a size 18, but because of the fit, be aware with sizing that they may run a little smaller than your normal size, so I'd maybe buy up a size if possible.

I was tasked with trying out the pants for two different looks.

For my first look, I paired them with a long cardigan and a basic white undershirt. With a pop of color on the necklace, it was a nice and easy neutral look and worked with pieces I thankfully already had in my closet (my husband has banned me from shopping this month, haha!)

For a weekend look, I added this beautiful yellow peplum top. I love wearing yellow and navy, so it was a good match and I added a red shoe and silver belt for a little fun.

I have to say that what I liked most about the pants was the pricetag. For $40, you get good quality and an expensive look, which is a great marriage that can be tricky to find.  I also bought about 5 basic shirts for around $7-$15 each. Budget heaven.

AND they're running a sale of 15% off of that by using the code SlimCityEa ! So make sure to get your shop on. You can find your local Gap Factory by clicking here.

Do you guys have trouble finding pants you like? What are some of your favorite styles? DO tell!
