Day Eight: An 80's Moment

Well, I've officially made it through one whole week of outfits and here we are moving on to week two! It's flown by already. The first week was so great hearing all of your feedback and comments. I hope we'll have this much fun throughout the whole year.

I have been really into oversize pieces and black and white (as you know) lately. Mostly I like switching up my normal style to play around with silhouettes that are unexpected for me. It's amazing how different your shape can look depending on the clothing you wear or the palette. Anything monochrome really changes the way you look. It can obviously be a good thing, although seeing these pictures after wearing this outfit tonight looks a little strange to me (I'm so used to seeing myself looking fullest in my hips).

Now, most people would probably advise against wearing white pants in November, but I love the way it looks with a white coat or top. I think it ends up looking unexpected and chic.

It's a tad hard to see here, but I also wore this amazing turban tonight. I'm really enjoying embracing my short hair and playing around with different headpieces. I'm so used to having long hair after so many years that it's fun to have the headwear make a statement instead of your hair.

Have a great Monday!
