Wedding-Wear Solutions: Mother of the Bride

Hi beautiful people.

I know it's been a few days since my last post, but today I am doing the final look in my wedding-wear solutions series. Please excuse my delay, I was extremely tied up with showing the fall collection of TwentyFour20 at Full Figured Fashion Week (more on that later).

ANYWAY, sometimes it can be challenging as a mother of the bride or anyone looking for a slightly less juniors-look to find something to wear that is both appropriate and fun. I love a good matching cardigan-dress or suit ensemble just as much as the next gal but come on, sometimes they are just plain ridiculous in their frumpiness!

This green dress with a sheer-top and embellished waist from Marisota (the sister site to Simply Be) is absolutely fabulous and the perfect solution to your problem.

Obviously, depending on the color scheme of the wedding , you might vary things up a bit, but overall, this look and cut is perfect for anyone.

It's a fun party dress and would work well for a formal wedding or a more casual, outdoor type ceremony as well. It's also great for multiple seasons and the sheer sleeve means no cardigan or wrap necessary!

I'll be giving away this look later in the week, so please stay tuned.

And in the meantime, I hope you've had a wonderful June and that July holds the same for you!

DETAILS:

Shoes: Rock & Republic
Earrings: Street Vendor
Bracelets: The Tee House
