New York Fashion Week always seems to creep up so quickly each February. I always feel like I'm still playing catch up from the holidays and then boom, it's time to start thinking about Fall trends, haha.
But the best thing about it is the fact that so many fabulous friends and colleagues come into town that aren't always here, so it usually means a lot of dinners and drinks and afterparties and such. Last night I had dinner with some of my fave fashion people and it was a blast.
I braved the FREEZING temps here in NYC to snap an outfit picture. I really loved this look because it's different than my usual style aesthetic, but still felt so me. The pricetag didn't hurt either. (Also, sorry for the iPhone pics, but lugging my DSLR to events is too much of a pain sometimes).
I paired it with this flannel shirt I recently got from Simply Be. I love that it kept the fun feeling of still wearing a gold lame prom dress, but it toned it down for a more wearable look. I added tights because it's short and then I wore my favorite Dollhouse low heel boots and I felt great.
Hope you all are staying warm in this frigid weather (unless you're in a warm weather state, in which case, I'm officially jealous of you!).
