Merry Christmas!

First of all, hello to all of you and I'm so sorry I've been MIA the past few weeks. We were moving into a new place, so I didn't have many of my clothes unpacked so that left me without blogging options.

Then, as some of you may already know, I've been in celebration mode for the past few days because my boyfriend of many years asked me to marry him and I am now officially engaged. It's truly a magical time in my life right now and I'm so happy.

My mom's Christmas party was last night and it's always super fun, once I am able to finish helping her out with cooking and cleaning. I had a blast and while I didn't get many pictures, I made sure to snap a few.

I've been very much into experimenting with different dress silhouettes, most notably the "Skater Dress" shape, which is very popular this season. I'm loving how comfortable it is and the fact that I haven't needed to wear Spanx. Winning!

My dress is this amazing convertible 3-piece one from Jessica Simpson Collection at Macy's. It can be worn as a dress or as separates, in the form of a crop/boustier style top and a skirt. I absolutely love it and it only cost $49 at full price! Yes!

My top is also from Macy's from Madonna's Juniors Clothing Line Material Girl. I love a good cold-shoulder top because it's sexy and youthful, but still covered up.

I hope all of you are enjoying your holidays and I wish you all a merry and productive New Year.

Thank you for an amazing 2012.

With love,
