|On set! Love my job!|
One of my favorite parts about my job is getting to see new brands and designers on the verge of something magical. My newest client, Cabiria, designed by Hollywood stylist and costume designer Eden Miller, is seriously AMAZING and I can't even begin to tell you guys how excited I am for her to come on the map.
Yesterday was the photoshoot for Cabiria's lookbook and website and it was one of the most fun days I have had on set. We were shooting in different locations in New York City and it was honestly the most humbling experience to be a part of the team. Models Maxey Greene and Farrah Olieri joined me as we were shot and styled by an A-list team that has worked on movies, television shows, commercials and theater productions. Listening to them talk about their experiences in Hollywood and watching them work their magic made the energy in the shoot really electric.
But let me gush about the designer and the aesthetic for a minute.
She mentioned to us how when she goes into places like Barney's or Neiman Marcus or small boutiques that she feels like she can look at the fabrics, but that's it because she can't buy them because they don't make it in her size. So she took it upon herself to make dresses with amazing construction, fabrics and attention to detail. Her line caters to women a size 12-24 and she really, really hit it out of the park.
