As New York City collectively sighed at the return of grey days and 50 degree temperatures, I can't say that I was too sad about it because it was an excuse to wear my suede color block coat.
I found this coat, which is a swing coat with no buttons or zippers and amazing shoulder pads, at my favorite local thrift store and I probably scared everyone around me when I screamed in delight. It is real suede and probably cost hundreds for the woman who bought it. But it cost me only $15. Destiny!
At first glance, the coat does look tacky, which is why I believe so many people shied away from it, but as soon as I saw it, I knew it was meant for me. I plan to wear it multiple ways in the next few weeks while the chilly temperatures last.
Coat: Vintage, thrifted
Jeans: Torrid

OK so I hate you right now lol!! That coat is sick, like yuck :-p! I love bright colors with everything else I'm wearing being a solid color, nice find!
Where is your local thrift store? I live in NYC & have been trying to get into thrifting.
This one was actually at the Salvation Army in Paterson NJ, but there are SO many goodies in NYC!
Any Salvation Army first of all is always a good bet. So many good things. Buffalo Exchange in Brooklyn is great, as is Cheap Jack's in midtown. And Goodwills always have some gems too.
LOL I know, this was a one in a million score!
That coat is amazing, really love those colours!
Cute outfit!!! Love the colors in your top :)
