My birthday party's livelihood was SERIOUSLY threatened by Hurricane Irene this year.
After what felt like weeks of planning, it ended up being rained out and most of my friends were too busy preparing for the impending doom to make it out.
But a few were able to come out, which made me SO happy. Most were college pals and their significant others, but we had a blast in VIP.
