A twist on the classic trench

Retailers are doing amazing things with the classic tan trench these days and I'm really loving it.

I'm sure all of you have read me swoon over Simply Be and this trench was no exception. It was probably the first item I saw from the latest collection which really stopped me in my tracks.

It's a beautiful piece with pleather sleeves that gets so much attention whenever I wear it. It's similar to what we've seen on runways for Burberry and Versace and I just couldn't love it more.

I usually don't like wearing things I see a lot of other bloggers in, but all my fellow fashionistas love it just as much as I do. And it's so fab, I just don't care!! Haha.

I paired this coat with a leopard dress from Miss Tina and my favorite studded tangerine clutch. I let my friend convince me to go with the orange earrings, which wouldn't have necessarily been what I would have reached for, but looking at the photos gives a nice pop of color in a neutral color outfit. And we know my love affair with color! I'm also not crazy about the lip, but what are you gonna do?
