I've been back from London for a few weeks now and I miss it daily. I love that city so much, mostly because I LOVE (!) the shopping.
When I was there, I had a chance to tour and experience the Simply Be store on Oxford Street. Shopping on Oxford is much like shopping on 34th Street in New York City or Michigan Avenue in Chicago. All the major stores are there and you see fabulous fashionistas as well as tourists. The shopping is wonderful but there certainly aren't a lot of plus size options. That's why it was so wonderful to see a plus size store that is as glamorous and fashionable as all of the other options near it.
The store is two floors and they treat customers like queens with a knowledgable and super fun staff, as well as a personal shopping room that ANYONE can call ahead and book. You get to have someone help you pick out clothes that work for you, all while sipping champagne and experiencing the finer side of shopping.
I tried on a few of these looks and I fell in love. I ended up loving the store so much I went back a second day and bought more, haha.
My favorite section was hard to choose, but I think it's the gorgeous lingerie shop and shoe department on the bottom floor. The store in Manchester is also wonderful, but something about that location in London is just so fashionably fabulous!
So if you're ever there, be sure to stop in and tell the staff I said hello!
