It's been a very, very busy few weeks full of so many changes that I feel like my head is spinning a bit. But it's all in a good way. No complaints here!

But let's get back to fashion. This outfit was honestly just a simple post I wore last night when I was spending time with my sister and brother-in-law, and my wonderful nephews, who came to spend time with us in NYC. It was great to see them and we went to dinner and had a night full of laughter and joy. Those are the best moments!


I paired these black pants from Anna Scholz's collection with Simply Be with a simple black shirt, but wanted to add some color. So i added this blue silk blouse on top and rocked my neon pumps. It was super comfortable, and when you're hanging out with a 3-year-old and a six-month-old, you have to go with comfort.

Tonight was the gala for Time Magazine's 100 Most Influential People of the Year.

From Barbara Walters and Cicely Tyson to Rihanna and Dr. Oz, the red carpet had several amazing movers and shakers.

Interviewing Matt Lauer of the "Today Show" was amazing because he shared with me his experience when he was unemployed for two years before coming to NBC and how he thought about giving up. It was such a great story and very inspiring. I can see why people are so at ease with him, he is very warm and genuine.

I also got the chance to chat with legendary females who inspired me, including Barbara and Cicely. Stay tuned for the video piece, which will hopefully be coming out this week.

It’s Tribeca Film Festival week here in NYC, which means tons of great events and exciting movies to see and of course, fun places to go! Yay :)

I’ve been looking for a great dress that can work for more formal, black tie events for a while but it’s definitely always a battle. But once again, IGIGI came to the rescue.

I have never personally been a huge fan of maxi dresses because I find the lengths to often be either ridiculously short on me or dragging. I wear them often in the summertime, but they can be tricky in this inbetween weather we have been experiencing lately.

But I was drawn to the print on the Eva Maxi dress from Igigi and I immediately saw it as the perfect season transition piece.

Retailers are doing amazing things with the classic tan trench these days and I'm really loving it.

I'm sure all of you have read me swoon over Simply Be and this trench was no exception. It was probably the first item I saw from the latest collection which really stopped me in my tracks.

It's a beautiful piece with pleather sleeves that gets so much attention whenever I wear it. It's similar to what we've seen on runways for Burberry and Versace and I just couldn't love it more.

This week has been a whirlwind of events, so I'm sorry I haven't posted an outfit in a few days! But I love this dress so much it was worth the wait.

I wore this beautiful showstopper of a dress this week to the Bravo Upfronts in New York City where I got to chat with all of the big reality stars on the network that brings you The Real Housewives, The Rachel Zoe project, and my favorite, Flipping Out. Keep an eye out for my video package coming next week.

It's been a bit of time since I've talked about my wellness journey and that's mostly because for a few weeks I put it on hold. I ran a 5k back last month and it was incredible (I didn't die!), but also incredibly challenging. I realized that I have a long way to go before I am back to the shape where I want to be.

As I've mentioned previously here, someone very close to me had a terrifying health ordeal back in February, which is still very much going on. This woman, who I love very much and is part of my family, suffered a debilitating moment in her health because she was not making her wellness a priority. By that I mean sleeping, peace, making time to take care of her mind, poor diet and lack of exercise. It is a wake up call.
