Pink, white and blue

Lately I have been really into wearing white. This is not to say I don't stain it when I wear it, but I will say I try my damn hardest not to. I felt these colors were festive for the holiday. I know it's not red, but work with me and imagine it is, haha.

Anywho, a lot of you have been asking questions about shopping in straight size vs plus retailers.  I think this is true of mostly any blogger I know, but let me say with emphasis that I do not, nor should you, limit myself to one type of store.

If I did, I wouldn't have half of the things that I love in my closet. There are many options available for women at different stores, both straight and plus. You just have to learn fabrics, know your body and know what will work on you and what won't. And until you're an expert to the point of being able to eyeball clothes online and know what will fit, try things on!! I try everything on -- which is one of the main reasons I do most of, if not ALL of my shopping alone. I need to be able to take my time. Don't attempt it while you're in a rush.

And while you can't always follow fashion "rules" you find in magazines, it's a greta idea to learn about cuts, fabrics and fit in mags like Vogue, #teenvogue, Glamour, InStyle and others.

I'm planning to do a big tutorial and faq on this with much more information, if people are interested. So stay tuned for that.
